Delhi on high alert following terror threat

Intelligence agencies have received inputs that some terrorists from Jammu & Kashmir will be entering Delhi. According to the inputs, terrorist agencies may be planning an attack on the capital.

The Delhi Police have been kept on high alert after intelligence agencies warned of an impending terror attack in the capital. According to intel inputs, terrorists from Jammu and Kashmir may be entering Delhi by bus, car or taxi.

A thorough search is being conducted at guest houses, hotels and vehicles with registration plate from Kashmir are being scrutinised. An alert has been sounded at bus terminals and railway stations as well.

Officials have been asked to keep a special focus on Delhi’s outer north district. All district DCPs, special cell crime branch and other units have been put on high alert after the information was received of terrorists entering Delhi with a major conspiracy to attack the capital.
