Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal also said that cinema halls in Delhi will remain shut till March 31. “Disinfecting all public places, including govt, private offices and shopping malls, has been made compulsory,” said Kejriwal.
According to the Union health ministry, the number of coronavirus cases in the country has risen to 73 with 13 fresh cases, including one foreign national, reported till Thursday. Delhi has reported six confirmed cases of coronavirus.
Coronavirus outbreak was first reported in December last year in Wuhan city of China. The disease has affected more than 100 countries so far and has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organisation.
Covid-19 has claimed over 4,200 lives and infected more than 117,330 people across the world.
