India captain Virat Kohli wants Cheteshwar Pujara to be fit and ready for whenever the cricket season resumes and he reminded his teammate in a hilarious way on social media.

Kohli posted a picture late on Tuesday night, one from India’s 2018-19 Test series in Australia, to troll Pujara.

“First session after lockdown be like… @cheteshwar1 I hope you will go for the ball pujji,” Kohli captioned the post along with a couple of smileys.

India fast bowler Mohammed Shami was quick to join in on the fun. “No chance hahahahahaha,” Shami replied on the post and tagged both Kohli and Pujara.

It may be some time before Kohli and the Indian cricketers get the chance to return to the field like other sports figures as the whole world continues to be in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

All major tournaments across sports have either been cancelled or postponed due to control the Covid-19 crisis which has brought the whole world to a standstill.

Indian cricketers would have been busy plying their trades for their respective franchises in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at this time of the year had it not been delayed due to the virus which has infected over 46,000 in India and claimed over 1500 lives so far.

The overall tally stands at 3.58 million confirmed cases worldwide with over 252,000 deaths and 1.17 million recoveries.
